Does anyone remember like, a few years ago when everyone on deviantart freaked out about THE SAME THING?
And nothing happened.
Of course ridiculous bills like this get shot down all the time. But some sometimes they pass.
Remember DOMA?
Even if there’s no chance of PIPA or SOPA passing right now, there’s no harm in reminding the government of how unacceptable these ideas are. If something—ANYTHING—goes up for consideration that the people don’t agree with, it’s their responsibility to tell their representatives.
How else are they supposed to represent us?
