It sure has been good to be a Homestuck lately, hasn’t it? Between the latest flash update and the already successful Kickstarter, we have a lot to celebrate! I haven’t been too active within the community, aside from keeping up with the comic, but I have done a bit of work behind the scenes!

I’m so happy (and, let’s face it, totally unsurprised) that the Scalemate plushies were so well-received in the Kickstarter! I was hired to do the turnarounds and pantone color assignments for the manufacturer a long time ago, and they had to jump through a lot of hoops to get here, but they came out absolutely perfect!

I was also brought in for the Kankri portrait in the flash game, since I’d done Karkat’s for the last one. Andrew asked for snobby, and who am I to deny him?? My only regret is not pushing the ridiculousness of the turtleneck further, but I haven’t seen the actual comic sprite yet and didn’t want to overdo it. I’m glad fanartists are doing what I couldn’t, though! You guys are seriously the best.

Anyway, I just got back from my last convention of the year, so I can get back to my regularly scheduled art production. I’ve been working on some things I can’t share yet (Homestuck and otherwise), but I should have some new things to post soon, and maybe some livestreams as well?

Lastly, the post-convention shop sale is also officially over! Some orders will be going out in the next day or to, while others include some stock that has not yet arrived, so expect everything to ship out in the next two weeks. Thanks so much to everyone who checked it out and spread the word—it really helped me get through this last stretch of summer while I couldn’t take commissions!
